Elizabeth Stallings

"Mystical Valley"

Years ago, the desire to express myself through creating art
brought me to study at The Atlanta College of Art, and with
accomplished artists in the metro area.  A passion was born!
I now produce, exhibit, and teach art on a full time basis.

I work in a variety of mediums: oil, acrylic, pastel and
other drawing media.  I choose the medium and style that
best fits the subject matter at hand.  I create my paintings
from life or from my imagination.  Whether a portrait,
landscape or abstract work, I look for the emotional content
in a subject and attempt to have the viewer connect with
that emotion.

In addition to my painting schedule, I am a member of the
art faculty at the Jacqueline Casey Hudgens' Center for the
Arts and at Dacula Classical Academy in Gwinnett County.
I teach privately in my Stone Mountain studio.  I'm a
member of local art organizations and exhibit in group,
juried and solo shows on a regular basis.
