"Pears No. 262"

I developed an interest in art while attending free drawing classes at the Cleveland Art Museum.  The Old Masters realism in their still life paintings and their bold colors have always inspired and intrigued me.  I work in pastels and oils, painting landscapes and still life.  I find that there is elegance in simplicity in a painting.  My world-famous pear paintings mostly identify me and my work.  The pears are a still life with a twist and take on human attributes.  Although the backgrounds vary, the pears hover in family groups, standing alone or falling from the sky.  Individuals and corporations throughout the country have collected my works.  To date, over 335 pear paintings have been completed.
