Some artists' works
are part of their life's journey. My journey began as a child who
always colored inside the lines with my 64-piece set of Crayolas.
According to my parents, I needed to pay more attention to academics
and less attention to art.
As an adult, I put
aside art for a career in organizational management although I knew
I was an artist at heart. More recently, I've embarked on a journey
that comes with wisdom and a desire to be fulfilled, using my
God-given talents.
I lose myself in my
work and, just for that moment, nothing else exists. That's what
makes the journey so fascinating and exciting. My paintings are
landscapes, seascapes, and still lifes from my visions, dreams, and
pictures I have taken throughout my travels.
My paintings are
now being accepted into juried exhibitions. I invite you to join me
on my journey as I continue my art career while coloring outside the
lines.
