SOUTHERN COLOURS ART ASSOCIATION

....is an active group of professional Georgia artists who met through a mutual interest in art. From just two artists painting together in 1995, we have evolved to a larger group that now meets weekly in Gwinnett County, GA, to paint. Southern Colours represents various mediums and many styles; each member contributing their own unique creative ability to the group. Through group critiques, everyone has an opportunity to share their work and learn from each other. Our exhibits provide the opportunity for expanded marketing. Planned projects challenge our artists to experience new ideas and techniques. Our membership includes designers, art educators, and producing artists who are active in local galleries.

Individual interpretations by the Southern Colours Artists from a predetermined set of elements. The paintings will be displayed at UUCG from October 15, 2008 through December 31, 2008.
